2026 Winners

Shooting Brakes

Judges: Ian Callum CBE & Carol Spagg

Winner: 1937 Ford V8 Woody, owned by Guy Barnes

The judges said… “It’s a quasi-unique right-hand drive car that was actually built in the UK, but what we love so much about it is it’s so very original, and even the bits that have been replaced have been done so sympathetically.”

The Woodcote Trophy

Judges: Leonora Martell-Surtees & Richard Hammond

Winner: 1939 HRG 1.5 Litre, owned by Michael Kershaw

The judges said… “It’s a very special car with a great history, made all the more so by the passion of the owner. He really enjoys it, even on speed events like Prsescott. Considering how much use this HRG receives it really is presented beautifully.”

Pre-War Masterpieces

Judges: Peter Stevens & Andrew Hall

Winner: 1930 Bentley Six Saloon, owned by David Little

The judges said… “It’s a very elegant car but with plenty of differentiators – so, spectacular and dramatic but with lots of super details, such as chrome and lights that are in satin-black, just as they would have been delivered.”

Spoiler Alert

Judges: Aimée Watts & Patrick Watts

Winner: 1985 Lamborghini Countach, owned by Michael Pullen

The judges said… “It’s very original and iconic. We loved talking to an owner who works on a car like this himself, and who fell in love with the car when he was originally asked just to sell it, and so his passion is equal to the drama that this great period Countach exudes.”

Targa Florio

Judges: Allan Winn & Ben Cussons

Winner: 1973 Porsche 911 2.8 RSR, from a private collection

The judges said… “This is a totally genuine Targa Florio car and the last Porsche to make its mark in the race. It is in absolutely fantastic condition with a brilliant backstory. It’s a timewarp piece but, wow, when it fires up it makes a wonderful noise!”

V12 Engines

Judges: Michelle McDonough

Winner: 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2, owned by Rory McGregor

The judges said… “This is a great car that’s taking part in its first ever concours. Believe it or not, bearing in mind how well it displays, it’s something of a warts-and-all car, that the owner drove here from south London, and has loved for the past five years.”

Motorcycles

Judges: John Hogan & Michael Quinn

Winner: 1932 Rudge Works 500cc, owned by Mike Farrall

The judges said… “It’s an ex-works bike that achieved exactly what it set out to during its competition life, but that was just the start of an incredible life story that has gone on for decades and decades, and because of its Murray walker connection it touches every enthusiast, biker or not.”
